Correct Answer !

F.W. Beers generated a set of survey maps for many parts of southern New England in the mid-19th Century. Beers atlases represent the most comprehensive set of historic maps which show individual, labelled houses and other structures. Covering broad areas of the Northeast United States, the Beers maps provide an invaluable resource to archaeologists for locating specific historic sites no longer represented by standing structures. For an example, see "Preservation Through Conservation Easements: South Farms".
